Tomato Sauce

I spent a good part of the day peeling, chopping and simmering. I put my tomato plants in the garden in May, so it has taken the better part of four months in the sun to get two containers of freezer sauce. Now, I must admit that it most definately smells heavenly. Oh, so different than what I smell when I open a can from the market.

If we’re lucky, we have another month of tomatoes. So, I will hopefully have more sauce for the freezer.

Thursday, it’s time for the green beans…
